jGnash is a personal finance application written in Java. A JVM of 1.4 or greater is required. jGnash supports basic account types and simple investment accounts at this time. jGnash has support for split transactions, nested accounts, and currencies. jGnash can import QIF files excluding investment accounts and transactions. Data is stored in an XML format so it is easy to manipulate and read the data external to the program.

Kexi is an integrated environment for managing data. It helps with creating database schemas and inserting, querying, and processing data. It integrates smoothly into KDE and KOffice, and is designed as a possible replacement for Microsoft Access. It is supported under Linux and MS Windows.

KOffice is an integrated office suite based on the KDE libraries. KOffice currently includes KWord, KSpread, KPresenter, KChart, Karbon14, KFormula, Kugar, and Kivio. There are no special mail and news clients included in KOffice, because there are KMail and KNode available for KDE anyway. All KOffice components work together, and you can embed every KOffice component into any other KOffice component. This is realized using the KParts object model.

TIMEEFFECT is a multi-user system for recording the time spent on any type of project. Administrators are able to manage users, customers, projects, and efforts, and users can be categorized as administrators and agents. It provides agents with the ability to manage projects and efforts belonging to designated customers. Agents may generate accounting reports for customers and projects in HTML or PDF format. It includes German and English translations.
