Clara OCR is an Optical Character Recognition program. It features both a powerful GUI for the X Window System, and a Web interface. The Web interface is able to collect revision efforts from the Internet, using a simple revision model. It is intended to be used in the cooperative optical recognition of old books. It tries to facilitate fine- tuning, so an optical recognition project is enabled to invest resources in tuning the OCR, in order to achieve better recognition results for one specific book, and reduce the overall revision cost.

Lazy8 Ledger is a very simple yet powerful accounting program designed for people who have experience in bookkeeping. It is a plugin for jEdit. You can enter any type of bookkeeping activity and break out the activities to any number of accounts. There are numerous standard reports that are the basis of accounting needs and then there are tools to make your own reports. Furthermore, it is Unicode-compatible in all respects.

OpenOffice.org Quickstarter is a small application that runs in the KDE SystemTray. It is used to quickly start the different OpenOffice.org modules without having to go through the K-Menu. Instead of just starting of applications, you can also select multiple files in the usual opendialog provided by KDE to open them in OpenOffice.org, use a history of recently opened files, configure the app to do one of the above described functions on a simple double click, and use the app to keep a hidden instance of OpenOffice.org in memory to achieve much shorter startup times of the OpenOffice.org modules.

QHacc is a personal accounting program based on Qt. It features double- or single-entry bookkeeping and a reconciliation window. It also provides support for memorized and split transactions, graphing, reporting, archiving, and scheduled transactions that can be based on the account balance.
