Known Limitations

Most PC-UNIX OSs require identical geometry hard drives to be used during the restore process!
    • To our knowledge, no PC-UNIX OSs (other than Linux and SCO) will allow the use of different geometry hard drives during the restore process (Linux and SCO do allow a geometric change and, thus, work fine when restoring to a hard drive with different geometry).
    • Again, when using QuickStart with UNIX systems, the hard drive used for restoring the system must have identical geometry to the hard drive the image was made from (except for Linux and SCO as noted above).
