To install Mono, copy mono-1.2.5.1_2-installer.bin to your home directory,
then open up a terminal and enter:

chmod +x mono-1.2.5.1_2-installer.bin
./mono-1.2.5.1_2-installer.bin

This makes the installer program executable and then runs it. By default,
Mono will be installed in the /opt directory.
