Welcome to Mandrake Linux 8.2.

The easiest way to start the installer is to boot directly from the Installation CD; you'll then be presented with a startup screen similar to the one shown here.

Press "Enter" to begin a standard installation, or press the "F1" key to display a help screen which describes some additional options which may be used if you experience problems during a standard installation.
