TheOpenCD is a collection of high quality Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) for Windows. There are thousands of FOSS programs available for free download, which makes it difficult to separate the stable and truly useful offerings from those in need of further development. The programs on TheOpenCD are carefully selected to ensure stability, ease of use and a clean install and un-install from your computer.
The Windows-based software on this CD is a sub-set of that found on TheOpenCD. The CD-browser used for both projects is powered by K-meleon, which uses the same Gecko engine as Firefox. Please visit TheOpenCD.org for more information.
