OV-102 is nearly clear of the launch tower as it heads skyward. OV-102's starboard profile, the external tank (ET), and the right solid rocket booster (SRB) are visible. Exhaust generated by the SRBs produces a cloud cover over the LC pad. The diamond shock effect trails from the three space shuttle main engines (SSMEs). The scene is reflected in a nearby waterway. At the right is the sound supression water system tank.
