Lucent Bundles Enhanced Software Technologies' Backup and Disaster Recovery Software in INTUITY CONVERSANT

Phoenix, AZ (March 17, 1998) -- Enhanced Software Technologies, Inc. (EST) announced today that its mission critical backup/restore and disaster recovery software will be bundled with Lucent Technologies' INTUITYTM CONVERSANT® system. EST's BRU and QuickStart Data Rescue Backup and Disaster Recovery products will be included with every INTUITY CONVERSANT system.

Lucent's INTUITY CONVERSANT system automates complex business telephone interactions using built-in scripts and digitized speech. The system also gives callers 24-hour access to applications, such as account inquiries, store locations, and catalog orders by pressing a touch-tone keypad or speaking voice commands.

"EST's BRU was selected by Lucent for INTUITY CONVERSANT because it makes periodic backups so easy to administer," said Bill Bright, Lucent's Marketing Manager for INTUITY CONVERSANT. "And QuickStart Data Rescue, EST's disaster recovery product, provides system administrators added insurance that data and operating environments would be easily restored in any disaster situation."

BRU will provide high-performance, easy-to-use and reliable daily backup and restore capabilities for Lucent's INTUITY CONVERSANT system customers. QuickStart Data Rescue provides one-step restoration of complete system application environments without reinstalling the operating system.
