The FCC rules and regulations are available as Title 47 of the Code of
Federal Regulations (47 CFR). The five volumes cost from $12 to $20
each and are revised annually. Volume 1 (Parts 0 to 19) includes the
90-page Table of Frequency Allocations. Volume 5 (Parts 80 to End)
covers the various mobile services. The GPO operates bookstores in

Supplies the Master Frequency File, subsets and indexes, on microfiche
and 9-track magnetic tape. The State Index microfiche is ~$55 and
includes frequency, name, city, state, call sign and service code. All
the mag tape files cost more than $1000. NTIS has catalog extracts
available describing the various FCC files, formats and prices (ask for

V.32/V.42bis, 9600 baud @ $100/hr, 2400 @ $50/hr. SQL Access is also
available online. Searches can be performed and data downloaded in
batch via Kermit. Custom Searches are availble with results on disk,
tape, or paper; cost varies by search ($1000.00++)

on HD floppy disk and is dBase compatible. Access program and one state
is $39.95 (49.95 for CA, TX or FL) + 3.00 s/h. Updates are $29.95. A
nationwide file included with each state order. Also offers a national
railroad file for $29.95.
Fields are - freq., name, city, county, state, latitude & longitude,
call sign and service code (approx 113 bytes/rec).

Available are various subsets by service, state, etc. Formats are ASCII
and dBase compatible (access program provided with the CD-ROM version).
A single state CD-ROM (all frequencies) is currently $99.95.

licensee: name, mailing address, city, state, zip, expiration date

customer-specified location. The prices are: rural $80, metro $140,
super-metro $200 (printed list are one-half these prices). Available in
ASCII columnar and comma-delimited formats. Does not include stations
lacking a specific location (i.e. mobile-only systems).
Fields are similar to those described for PerCon (186 bytes/rec).

PerCon file (275 bytes/rec). Program is compiled Clipper and data
is dBase compatible. Distributed on HD floppies.
