We are offering a new list to re-group WNOS users. I mean the radio-packet group at the EDUGRAF (Educational Software Lab, Informatics Department, University of Santa Catarina, Brazil) The idea is to add to this new list all previous subscribers of the old list. Those who do not wish to stay in the new list are asked to sign off after receiving the message telling they've been added. We are setting up and testing a Listserver for this purpose... I think it'll be operational in two weeks... Meanwhile, new subscribers could e-mail me: fernando@edugraf.ufsc.br > I have an archive of sources >for wnos 4a8-debuged i never botherd with 4a9 as there was nothing good >or better about it, I have wnos-5a and wnos-5b and i have fixed/debuged >a homebrew wnos-5 ... We want to install a FTP-server, too, oriented to WNOS users. So, Barry, tell me how to get your work if you want to make it available, please... We would be happy if other hams that have docs or any Wnos-related stuff could please point it to us (same e-mail). Happy New Packets to all! fernando +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Internet | If you want to go ahead | |--------------------------------------| get a theory... | | pro: fernando @ edugraf.ufsc.br | If you want a theory | | amateur: fernando @ edugraf.ampr.org | go ahead! So there was no wnos-listserv keeper at esoc internet site so the admin staff simply shut it down and erased all the archives, I have an archive of sources for wnos 4a8-debuged i never botherd with 4a9 as there was nothing good or better about it, I have wnos-5a and wnos-5b and i have fixed/debuged a homebrew wnos-5 I simply debuged the ethernet/arcnet/packet drivers and the drsi code, seems that the author never debugs the bits that he or the local testers use, Later i will release my own variant of wnos-5 along with another keen code bashed maybe, ;-() In the next months i will be out of the net doing some 'Spook Work' back in my old line of employment, hi. for those that know me, ;-) Thats it bye Barry GM8SAU ex DC0HK ------------------------------ End of TCP-Group Digest V93 #340 ****************************** ******************************
