To: tcp-group@ucsd.edu Pierpaolo, I did it here for quite some time. The simple solution was to make a serial connection, then just send the kiss data through just as if there were two tnc's there. The extra header data just got ignored. Just make sure you use different calls on the MSYS calls than any you are using for JNOS calls. Then any mail entered into the MSYS box for a TCP/IP user should be set to be routed to the JNOS box for distribution. (This sounds complicated, but a little studying of the forwarding in MSYS should show it to be pretty easy.) As I said, I actually ran this way for a while before I finally put JNOS on as my sole system of choice. Both ports now connect to the JNOS BBS. Hope this provides the answer you need. 73 de Ed Fairbairn wd0hxt@wd0hxt.ampr.org ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 Dec 1993 14:59:06 +0100 (MET) From: tristan@stack.urc.tue.nl (Ramon Kolb) Subject: PCELM To: tcp-group@ucsd.edu Hi, I have been using PCELM 3.1 now for a while, but it seems to make rubbish of every header line that doesn't start with a full header name, especially those with " id blahblah..." after a "Received: " line. My question is, does anyone know if there is a newer version than 3.1? I couldn't find one at ucsd.edu.... Please answer me through email... The problem you mention was there in release 3.01, but is supposed to be fixed in 3.1 - I'd appreciate a copy of a mail that causes this error to help me track down this bug. The latest version is 3.2, which will be out after Christmas. This is mainly a bugfix release (seems not only the various NOS-derivates are cursed with memory leaks :-)) Merry Christmas, -Martin -- Martin Freiss | R&D computer center | freiss.pad@sni.de Siemens Nixdorf Infosystems | Dept.
