I always put a dash in front of the login name (as some machines don't work without it). In directory /inet/rfc you will find the whole ongoing RFC's. Phil did not include the fixes at that time, but I thought that others did. Both the client and server have to be fixed. I am in favor of the "conservative" fix (<CRLF>.. -> <CRLF>.).
