I have the KA9Q base code working just fine on a 486 with DOS 6.0 and NO
doublespace (KA9Q version 930622). The scrollback works just fine. Another
local ham is running the exact same version that I compiled and with the
same files and basic configuration except the only noticeable difference
is that he's running the doublespace program. His scrollback does not work.
He also has a slightly different files display. Everything he has tried
has not fixed it. And yes, the scrollback command is set to 1000. Has
anyone else run across this or is it a compatibility problem with DOS 6.0
doublespace?

To: tcp-group@ucsd.edu

I am using ka9q to receive internet news, bdale (ka9q) suggested
I ask you if there is a pc dos program to review/scan/generally manage
the news articles
I'd appreaciate any help you might be able to give me.
I also need help posting a news article since (it appears) that KA9Q
does not have a facility to do that .

Zambrano,

Hi,

Read your mail in one of the latest TCP-Digest-Group messages.

As I get the information correct, your network looks like this:

                   HOSTNET 192.124.42.0

What you are to look for, is the configuration of the Cisco Router.
Mind the subnet mask: it shout be as in the entire network:
 255.255.255.128.
If the last part of the mask is set to '0', it looks as if the network
connected to the CISCO is ANOTHER network: no routing/forwarding needed.

Also: the Cisco router should be a STATIC router for Internet: Routing
has to be programmed by hand.

  'routing igrp <network-id>
   routing 192.124.42.0'
