Does anyone have any channel monitoring software.

I've looked at PacketTracker (for the Mac) and it doesn't do what I want.

I did have something called MONAX25 which came out quite a while ago but
the only copy I have is corrupt.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Carl.

Bob, the files are located on ucsd.edu (and probably
other systems) in the /hamradio/packet/tcpip/incoming
directory. There seems to be two files, one has the
binaries, the other has the deviation meter stuff.

I've tried out the system and really like it. You can
configure it just about any way you like, and I've been
using two TNC's as an IP router with all the Net/Rom
stuff turned off. The only time you need to connect to
them is to change parameters. They also have a kiss
interface that is selectable over the old NRS interface.
Three styles of kiss are available on the RS-232 port:

 1. Simple KISS, replacing NRS
 2. KISS, passing data not directed at node
 3. KISS, passing all data, even directed to node.
    (useful for performance measurement software)

I use option two and can plug my NOS box in and out without
messing up all routing, or having to make additions anywhere.

Hi all..I am Renato IT9NTT and i have some problems with PmNos v1.0d by KZ1F.
I bought OS/2 2.1 one week ago and i use a version of OS/2 for the first
time so i am a beginner.
I took PmNos v1.0d from UCSD.EDU but the program does not work well with OS/2
2.1, infact it disappear after few minutes giving no error message.
I don't know if it is a memory problem but i don't think because i use
a 486 with 16 Mb.
I noticed other problems..for example the program does not see the UART 16550
giving the asystat command...another problem is with the trace command infact
if the trace is actived directly in the autoexec.nos OS/2 does not load the
program..i must open the trace window from the prompt of the program.
I took the sources and i have GCC2_233 but i don't think that it is the
right compiler...which is the correct compiler for PmNos ??
Waiting for any possible answer.. 73 de Renato Enea IT9NTT

Since we have a bunch of radios to put on the air here for our new LAN/intertie
(and they are all low-split UHF exec... (i.e. 406-420 MHz ones... for the
421 MHz intertie...)) we would like to know the experience of someone who
has already hacked one of these radios up... and already invented the wheel.

Thanks

Seems it is easy to see "Date:" field was added by sendmail at ucsd.edu
- your mailer didn't put it. This field is REQUIRED - look RFC 822.
Fix your mailer or you will be unable to send mail to many sites.
