Subject: reason for fopen("CON", "wb") ?

Hi there,
the above line appears in the NOS sources (in ioinit() I think)
I was wondering if there was a reason CON was used. Why not
just simple stdout? Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks
JJ

Subject: ROUTING PROBLEM ?
To: tcp-group%ucsd.edu@radio-gw.cnuce.cnr.it

I need more info about mirrorshades.ucsd.edu. Our local hosts send
tcp-packet for ampr-net to this router. How can I send info to this
host without modify our local routing-table !?
We have a radio-gateway (radiogw.cnuce.cnr.it) that works with
sub-domain 44.134.208.XXX.
Thanks for the info and xcuse me for my terrible english!
