Thanks. ( Is there > a active mailing list or FAQ that covers these questions? ) I have a compilation of information on equipment options for 9k6 - 56kb packet (with emphasis on the latter) which I update occasionally. I was going to polish it into something suitable for publication in the upcoming CNC (or whatever it's called now), but I didn't get enough round tuits. The latest version is in a file called hispeed.003, and it's available for anonymous ftp from hydra.carleton.ca, in pub/hamradio/packet. It should answer some of your questions, anyway... feedback to bm@hydra.carleton.ca, please. The Gracilis PackeTwin card works really well with DSY modems too, as do the PackeTen switches. There's an app note available from Gracilis on how to hook things up. Try info@gracilis.com for more. To: tcp-group@ucsd.edu Somewhere recently I saw a reference to a "cb.ampr" network; it was in an /etc/networks file for some linux release, I believe... it listed net 44.x.x.x as ampr.org, and net 26 (or 22?) as cb.ampr.org... The last "registered numbers" rfc I saw showed that as a -TMP network for some company, so it could have been reallocated, but does anyone know if this is actually in use? _Mark_ <eichin@athena.mit.edu> N1DPU MIT Student Information Processing Board Cygnus Support <eichin@cygnus.com> ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 19 Aug 93 11:18:53 PDT From: brian@nothing.ucsd.edu (Brian Kantor) Subject: Interop To: tcp-group@nothing.ucsd.edu Well, it looks like the general plan is to meet at the Cisco booth a few minutes before noon Thursday and we'll go infest some local watering hole and food trough. Jeff Angus has cordially agreed to pick up the tab except that he can't because he won't be there, so we'll just have to talk nasty about him instead of abusing his wallet. - Brian ------------------------------ Date: 19 Aug 93 11:12:23 PDT From: D.Hassilev%TCPetT6@tcpet.uscg.mil Subject: Interop To: tcp-group@nothing.ucsd.edu I don't have a clue who you are, but I'll be attending a tutorial session thursday.
