I guess I need some kind of filter to cure this. Has anyone out there had the same problem? What kind of filter is needed? Model? Prices? The assembly description for the 56kb modem states that the transverter must be configured for LOW POWER input by installing a jumper. As I lack all instructions for the transverter I need to know where to install that jumper. The lucky event was related to a problem with TheNet X1H. I was refered to a patch that looks like it will fix the problem we are having. On a related note, I wonder if someone can answer a question for me: On TheNet X1H, there is a field for defining the IP address, and the IP Broadcast address, but not for the network mask. My question is: does one use the directed broadcast address (ie <network>.255) or the all ones broadcast (255.255.255.255)?
