I'm having trouble getting NOS to find the ODIPKT driver. NOS complains
about the attach packet line in autoexec.net, saying that "Packet driver
has unsupported Class 11". Anyone having used this configuration working
(SMC MLID driver, with ODIPKT 2.1 on top of it), pls email a sample of your
autoexec.bat, config.sys, net.cfg, and autoexec.net files...

thanks in advance.

I see the problem. The unknown option is the experimental TCP Window
Scale Option (RFC-1072). The header compression code in NOS converts
the incoming TCP header into internal form, then tries to write it
back out unchanged once it notices that the SYN bit is set (which
calls for an uncompressed packet). Unfortunately, the code that
handles options isn't quite general enough, despite some half-hearted
attempts on my part a while back to get ready for these new options.

I never encountered this problem myself with wuarchive because the SLIP
router at work is a Netblazer, not a NOS box, so I never had occasion
to transmit the window shift option through NOS - only receive it.

I'll put this on my list of things to fix. While I'm at it, I might as
well actually implement the Window Scale option, since it's pretty
trivial.
