I've rebuilt the AMPR.ORG nameserver database from the ground up, once again.

I really wish people would take more care in what they send the robot; I don't
have time to make the robot smart enough to keep every single error out of the
input files. Arrgh!

I'm catching up on a *big* pile of email, and I'm seeing what appears to be
a repeat of a security discussion that has happened several times before
on tcp-group.

I implemented the one-time-password scheme that used an iterated 1-way
function (MD-4) back at Bellcore before I left. It's up and running on
UNIX systems (you need to hack login.c, su.c and any other system program
that accepts passwords). I'll ask to see if I can distribute it.

I have placed SVR4 patches to WAMPES 930610 on ucsd.edu in the incoming
directory.

These patches will work with 930614 also if you remember to fix src/login.c per
Dieter's directions posted to this list. Or, you can do a diff between the
login.c that I provide and the one distributed with 930614 to see the change.

Hopefully, SVR4 will be officially supported some day.
