Thanks, Eric. I'm still having trouble COMPILING. So, my question for you folks out there that are compiling the schtuffe, which compiler are you using, Borland 3.0 or 3.1 ? I'm using 3.0 and I cannot get a complete compile. My original ftpusers file was replaced with a 0 length file. Not good. Finally, I changed my TMP variable to point to my hard disk instead of my RAMDISK (Microsoft version 3.04, MSDOS 5.00) and things started working. Give it a try. Post your results here. I have NO clue why a RAMDISK would get treated any different than any other drive on the machine. The sources don't seem to give any clues....at least to me. I have found that to get this file from existing German users of the Dk5sg bbs in the wampes pack is impossible Permission denyed when trying to read the file It lives in /tcp/bbs/.bbsrc as far as i know.
