I have tried to monitor AO-27, but I haven't heard anything. I have been able
to monitor AO-21 (at 145.987) with a HT with rubber duck antenna, but I can't
hear the AO-27 with a large roof mounted antenna. According to the STS+
program, AO-27 is supposed to get close to Indianapolis on 4/3/94 at 11:28 -
11:43AM (EST). From the information I have found It's downlink frequency is
436.8 and it uses FM voice. Is this correct?

Thanks for your help.

Jay

Latest information says that it is available for hams only on weekends
and when the satellite is in sunlight.

The commercial payload is in use more now.
