Hello, It is $15 plus 5.50 shipping and handling. I called up soon after it was announced and got quoted a price of $86 dollars. The woman handling the Upgrade Order line said the $15 dollar price quoted on Compuserve was wrong. When brought up on Compuserve and by calling AEA the next week I found out I was overcharged and the $15 dollar price was right! Someone also left a message on compuserve saying that he faxed an order for the Upgrade for $15 dollars + S/H and someone from AEA called back and told him the price was $30 dollars. I would suggest to Ron or anyone with the DSP boxes that paid more than $20.50 ($15+5.50 S/H) to contact AEA and get this straighten out. Hopefully putting the charge in dispute with the Credit Card company or contacting the US Post Office will not be needed. 73 Eric eac@world.std.com ------------------------------ Date: 26 Dec 1993 12:34:34 -0800 From: library.ucla.edu!agate!apple.com!apple.com!not-for-mail@network.ucsd.edu Subject: Santa in orbit? Speaking of Santa, how many of you heard Kitsat (I *think* it was Kitsat) on Christmas day? Last night on 80m, an amateur was playing back a recording of it. You first hear the usual bzzz...bzzz... data packets; and suddenly it burst into what sounded like Jingle Bells played by a chorus of bells! The one who played it back on 80m was hoping the FCC was not listening. I, for one, am glad he played it back -- made my Christmas! And a happy new year...
