I recently bought a Texas Instruments DSP Starter Kit (DSK), it's
a very nice thing to experiment with, it comes with assembler and
debugger, and example software (sources) such as an audio spectrum
analyzer. It's a TMS320C26, combined with a 14 bit AD/DA.
I have plans (and it must be easy) to implement the W9GR software,
CW filters and LMS filter.

The DSK costs $99.
