The stated spec for the radio is 428 to 436 Ne> MHz. Hi, Don. We bought a D4-10 from Universal Radio, and ordered it with a second channel of 441.0. The factory tuned the radio up for that channel with no hesitation or complaint. That's not as high as you asked about, but above the "specs." If you're doing it yourself, I think you can at least expect to have to re-tune the radio. 73, Gary KN4AQ, Raleigh NC ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12 ------------------------------ Date: 21 Mar 94 02:42:12 GMT From: agate!library.ucla.edu!csulb.edu!nic-nac.CSU.net!usc!math.ohio-state.edu!magnus.acs.ohio-state.edu!csn!microlithics.com!ted@ucbvax.berkeley.edu Subject: JNOS vs. WNOS ?? To: ham-digital@ucsd.edu Hi there es tnx fer reading this. I've been a user of WNOS for some time and NOS before that. I've noticed references to JNOS. I've had a quick look around one or two sites but not found much info on JNOS. Has anyone out there got any insight into the differences between WNOS and JNOS and which is better, I assume JNOS is the new kid on the block and potentially the next generation!! 73's es tnx. -- !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
