Any ideas? On what band? FM with that bandwidth is really only practical in the microwave bands (10 or 24 GHz), where modulation is commonly done with a varactor or directly to the gunn diode. Have you thought about spread spectrum? You could probably use the 906-928MHz band, and achieve reasonable process gain with the spreading codes U.S. hams are allowed. The ckts for the modulator and demodulator can be just microstrip transmission lines for phasing, and then balanced double balanced modulators. Of course, there is some digital stuff required to generate the spreading codes, sync the things up, and separate the data, but I notice you use the term 'chip set' so I think you probably are used to digital stuff . Hello dear reader, Today I distributed the file NET_Mac2.3.36.sea.hqx... In this version of NET/Mac I implemented the following: - Fixes for AddResMenu() bug in System 7.1.1 - 'sourcewhendone' command incorrectly kept track of linkstatus The reason for sending out 2.3.36 so soon after the release of 2.3.35 is because I noticed that when using system 7.1.1 (System 7 Pro) the order in which the HELP-topics are displayed was more or less random. This problem has been fixed in 2.3.36. This version obsoletes all versions of info-mac/comm/radio-netmac in the Sumex-Aim archives.
