I was thinking about using a PLL that I could tune a refrence to some intermediate frequency and run the error voltage into some kind of comparater or somthing close to get a digital output. Is this a good way to do it? Does anyone know the cavets on running the NE565 with a single voltage supply? Also has anyone seen the FM receiver chips from motorola? They seem to have a data output that will detect FSK modulation at any rate between 1200 and 36000 baud, how do these work? The block diagram looks like it is done with some kind of comparater. Is this a better way to go than using a pll? thanx mycal ------------------------------ Date: 27 Dec 1993 05:38:46 GMT From: usc.edu!howland.reston.ans.net!usenet.ins.cwru.edu!cleveland.Freenet.Edu!da884@network.ucsd.edu Subject: HF Gatesways Any? I want to learn more about radio packet Hi Debbie. Try anonymous ftp to ucsd.edu then start looking around for ham stuff. There's quite a bit there. If you have some specific questions, I'll be happy to try and answer. 73's -- ================================================= Ken Hopkins WA9WCP | Internet - HOPKEN@interaccess.com Disaster Team - | AMPRnet - 44.72.1.162 American Red Cross | AX.25 - WA9WCP@W9ZMR.IL.USA ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 26 Dec 1993 19:40:22 GMT From: galaxy.ucr.edu!library.ucla.edu!europa.eng.gtefsd.com!howland.reston.ans.net!newsserver.jvnc.net!newsserver.egr.uri.edu!orca!swamik@network.ucsd.edu Subject: Setting up a NOS Gateway on a Sparc IPC To: ham-digital@ucsd.edu Hi Im trying to setup a gateway on my Sparc IPC.
