You need to check the interface not the radio.  look at the pactel or
any issue of qst mag there are usually several bench mark comparision
in each issue as well as ads from various companies.  The fax is not
like standard telephone fax for business or character recognition.
But fasimile for wxmaps ref to arrl publications if you need some
titles ill hunt them up for you as well as issues.

   Yes, but "boyfriend" means different things to different people.  There's
no law against dating more than one person, after all. :-)

I am also interested in the Timewave DSP-9.  I am especially interested
in how much real audio gets through the thing.....does it take the 
audio and chop it up much when it gets to the speaker?  I really like 
my fidelity (such as it is from my 2.1 kHz filters), and would hate 
to make it worse, though the auto notching is a very nice feature.

Would love to hear from owners!

Scott,

The best TNC on the market today for ease-of-use is the KPC-3.  If you
buy this it will cost you around $125 out the door.  You might seriously
consider the 128K RAM upgrade as well, especially if you plan to use the
mailbox all the time.

What is needed to broadcast data at high speed over FM? How fast can you go 
and can you use "normal" modems, or i.e. a Telebit Trailblazer.

What does the receiver need?

I know nothing about this world but I'm really interested in the possibility
of sending data over wireless connections to different places simoultaneous.

If you can't use normal modems, what are these radio modems and how fast do 
they go? Any brands?
