DataVision

DataVision is a database reporting tool similar to Crystal Reports, written in Java. Multiple database backends (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, ODBC) and frontends (LaTeX, XML, comma- and tab-separated data files, DocBook, and HTML) are supported. DataVision uses XML files to describe reports.

EasyMailings

EasyMailings reads in an ASCII text file of addresses and outputs mailing labels in Adobe's Portable Document Format. The labels are sorted according to U.S. Postal Service regulations, that is, by tray and then package. It prints a header at the start of each tray and package, which greatly simplifies the mailing party. It can print bar-coded labels (both address and tray). It has no GUI and requires somewhat laborious printer calibration.

PhpMyLibrary

SMTM

smtm (Show Me The Money) is a Perl/Tk ticker, profit/loss calculator, and chart tool. It can display up to ten fields per share, among them company name, price, absolute and relative price changes as well as net wealth change (if the number of shares held is supplied). Other assets such as options, mutual funds, currencies are also supported. Foreign stocks are treated via cross-currency pairs that translate into domestic units. Charts can be launched with one click, and all the charts available at Yahoo!, including all of the advanced moving average and technical analysis features, can be displayed. Stocks can be added and deleted, and the selection can be stored. smtm has been used with US, Canadian, European, Asian, Australian, and New Zealand stocks. Firewalls are fully supported, including user/password support.

Twiggi

Twiggi Web Based Groupware is a Web based groupware application, written in PHP4, using MySQL as its database engine. It was originally based on the excellent TWIG project. With many on-going enhancements, it is similar to Microsoft Outlook, and features the following modules: twiggi today, Mail, Contacts, Notes, ToDo, Bookmarks, and extensive online help (available in English and German). Twiggi has full language support for German, Dutch, Italian, and English.
