Description of Working Group:

     The Inter Domain Policy Routing Working Group is chartered to
     develop an architecture and set of protocols for policy routing
     among large numbers of arbitrarily interconnected
     administrative domains.

Goals and Milestones:

Done       Write an architecture document.

Done       Draft Protocol Specification of key elements of the protocol.

Done       Develop a prototype implementation of the protocols.

Ongoing    Gain experience with the prototype in ``real networks''.

TBD        Develop gated version.

TBD        Add a small set of additional features and submit protocol
           into IETF standards process.
