Welcome to Business Applications for Linux!
This CDROM is a compilation of the best business, productivity,
graphics, and publishing applications for the Linux operating system.
System Requirements :
* A modern i386 or Alpha Linux distribution installed on your computer
* A CD-ROM drive
The software is split up into two categories depending upon which C
library they were linked against. For glibc-based Linux distributions
such as Red Hat, SuSE, and Turbo Linux you will want to search through
the files in the 'rpm' directory. For libc5-based Linux distributions
such as Slackware, you will want to install applications from the
'tgz' directory.

Quick Start Instructions:
The contents of this disc can be accessed through our easy to use HTML
interface. This interface includes a plethora of information about
each package.
First you will need to mount the CDROM drive with
# mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
After mounting the cdrom drive you should start a web browser with the
route level index.html file
# netscape /mnt/cdrom/index.html
Package Installation :
To install the packages in the 'tgz' directory onto a Slackware
Linux system, type:
# installpkg filename.tgz
To install the tgz packages on other libc5-based systems you would
type :
# tar xzvf filename.tgz -C (directory to install)
And then look in the resulting directory for any additional
installation documentation.
To install the packages in the 'rpm' directory on a glibc based
Linux system with rpm installed, type :
# rpm -ivh filename.rpm
