Name That Noise 1.0 for Windows 3.1

Name That Noise is a game for use with Windows 3.1 or higher. You must have a
sound driver to play the wave files that the game uses. Name That Noise is
a sound trivia game. You play the game by listening to sounds and guessing
what they are, who said them, or what movie they are from. For example, a
wave file may be a recording of the phrase "Read my lips, no new taxes."
When you press the LISTEN button the wave file will be played. Then you may
guess who said that phrase. To check your answer press the ANSWER button to
display the correct answer.

The sound can be anything that can be recorded and stored in a
Windows wave file. If you have a multimedia compatible sound card, you can
record sound bites from movies, TV shows, music, noises around the house, or
anything else you can think of to use with this game. There are already
hundreds of wave files available on many electronic bulletin boards such as
CompuServe and America Online. Many are popular sound bites from movies and
television. You can collect these wave files and arrange them however you
like. For instance, you could make a game file that was for TV sounds.
Playing the game won't be too challenging for whoever makes the game, but
the games can be a lot of fun for family and friends
