K-Chess for Windows is an educational Chess program which shows its own
calculations as it works. It has various types of hints and help, several
modes of play, move undo and redo, and fully keyboard or mouse controlled.

K-Chess for Windows is a Chess program which allows play between two
players, a player and the computer, or the computer against itself. It
has full keyboard and mouse control, several types of hints and help, and
on-screen calculation of the best moves. Games can be saved to disk.
K-Chess shows where a piece can move, and what pieces threaten a square.
Best lines of attack are displayed for both players several moves ahead.
And any move can be taken back or replayed back to the start of the game.
LONG DESCRIPTION:
K-Chess for Windows is a flexible Chess program which actually lets you
see what it is doing, and so helps you to learn to play better. The
computer will help you in several ways, such as showing where a piece can
move, and what pieces are threatening a particular square. Best lines of
attack are displayed for both players for several moves ahead. Multi
level undo and redo is also available so that moves may be reviewed and/or
replayed at any time.
The game can be between two players, one player and the computer, or the
computer against itself. There is full keyboard and mouse control, and
extensive help. Games may be saved to disk.
The game is customisable, allowing various restrictions on playing time
and different hinting levels.

Shareware Vendors have permission to copy and redistribute this program on
the following conditions:
1. The product is distributed in its entirety without modification directly
from the Shareware Installation Disk. Loader programs and documentation
files may be added, and the product may be bundled with catalogues or
other Shareware.
2. The product is identified as Shareware in all catalogues and labelling,
and recipients informed that the program requires further payment to
ARK ANGLES for use beyond the 60 day evaluation period;
3. Only a reasonable copying and distribution fee of not more than A$10 or
US$7 is charged.
4. ARK ANGLES has not requested in writing that the Vendor cease further
distribution.
Vendors who inform ARK ANGLES that they wish to distribute this product will
be sent updates and other new programs periodically.
An arrangement is available for reputable Shareware vendors who would like
to accept registrations for ARK ANGLES products for a commission. No stock

ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTION
Placing of this program on bulletin boards and the like is encouraged. The
contents of the Shareware Installation Disk should be packed into a single
file with a popular file archiving and compression program. The file
should be called KCHESW15.xxx where the 15 indicates version 1.5, and xxx
is the normal file extension associated with the compression program used.

Major new releases of this program will be distributed to the following

2. Registered Users who are eligible for a further upgrade.
3. Shareware Vendors who have a commission agreement with ARK ANGLES.

Minor new releases will generally only be distributed to Testers and
specific Registered Users who may require a particular fix.
