These instructions were intended to describe the files included
with Golf League Recorder. For an explanation of the program
features, please access the INFORMATION WINDOW from the Help Menu
once you have the program up and running. Also, take note of the
Info buttons provided at various points throughout the program.

             Installation instructions

   System Requirements:
Windows 3.0 or newer running in Standard or Enhanced mode.
     EGA or better graphics.

Program Files:

Golf.EXE - Main program, run from Windows program
                    manager or other launcher.

Golflr.DAT - Data files used by Golf League Recorder.
Course.DAT These files must be kept in the same
Golftp.DAT directory as the Golf.EXE program file.
     Golftp2.DAT

Vbrun300.DLL - Library file required by G.L.R. and other
programs written with MS Visual Basic
version 3.0. Keep in the same directory
as the other files or install Vbrun300.DLL
in a directory that is included in your
Path Statement such as your Windows
                    directory.

DDEML.DLL - Library files used by G.L.R.. Keep in
Threed.VBX the same directory as the other files or
Spin.VBX install in a directory that is included in
your Path Statement such as your Windows
directory. Windows 3.1 users will already
have DDEML.DLL in their system directory.
It was included for users of Windows 3.0.

Easiest installation, just keep all three files together in any
one directory. The program can also be run from floppy disk, if
the slower operation is not objectionable.

Placing a copy of VBRUN300.DLL in the Windows directory along with
the other Library (.DLL & VBX) files will allow Windows to run
other programs created with Microsoft Visual Basic v3.0.

When a League file is created, Golf League Recorder creates a file
with the name you selected and attaches the .LGE suffix. The .LGE
files should be backed up from time to time like any other
valuable data. League files should only be deleted or removed
by using the Delete option in the Create File section.

NOTE: It is best not to delete League files with a utility program
like the file manager, because the name of the league would remain
on the Open League Menu List.
